After the success of her sourdough program in September, Amanda Strojinc of Hopefully Homesteading LLC is returning to the Elm Grove Library! This time, she’ll be teaching the basics of food preservation—including fermenting, drying, canning, freeze drying, and more—all using methods you can try at home. Amanda will also share important food safety tips, provide recipes, and demonstrate the equipment she uses. Plus, participants will get to sample some of Amanda’s own delicious preserved foods! Don’t miss it!
