Minerals, Fossils & Crystals: Delve into the science of geology and hobby of rock collecting

Join geologist and paleontologist Jason Rehorst for an all-ages program about minerals, fossils, and crystals.  During the course of the program, Mr. Rehorst will teach attendees how to build and maintain a rock collection, talk about the geological history of Wisconsin and what fossils can be found nearby, and explain how the Ice Age shaped the landscape of Wisconsin for thousands of years.  Attendees will be able to examine and handle various fossils and minerals!  Free to attend.  Program in the O'Neill Room.  No registration required.
