Event Details

A Wealth of Nature” is a project spearheaded by Eddee Daniel and Preserve Our Parks, a non-profit dedicated to preservation and promotion of parks and open space. Eddee has traveled throughout the Milwaukee region documenting the area’s abundance of nature and recreational opportunities. Eddee will briefly describe the project and then share his beautiful photographs of places to enjoy and go for a walk within an hour’s drive of Elm Grove.

This is the third program in the 2024-25 Elm Grove Beautification Committee Winter Lecture Series, with partner support from the Elm Grove Library. Free to attend. No registration required.

Eddee is a Milwaukee-based photographer, writer and curator of The Natural Realm, a blog about nearby nature. He has over 30 years of experience as a teacher and public speaker and is the author of "Urban Wilderness: Exploring a Metropolitan Watershed” and “The Milwaukee River Greenway: A Wealth of Nature in the Heart of the City.” Eddee is on the board of Preserve Our Parks.
